I subscribe to Word a Day, which in theory sends me intriguing words to supplement my vocabulary.

Now we'll be having some caps from Newbie. I have some kind of unhealthy obsession with Newbie. You know. Unlike the healthy one I have with Callum in general. *sigh*

But really, I want a Newbie at home. So cute. Even if he is a bit dumb/out of it at times. I love him so much for being as cute as he is.

Explaining that the cheap cat food is bad for cats, cause it gives them stones and they destroy the ureter.

And then when the customer wants a healther cat food, Newbie tells them that they are not a health food store for cats. The delivery is priceless. :D

When the customer is gone, he calls him freak, even though Newbie is totally the freak. I love Newbie.

Customer comes back and wants to use the phone but Newbie tells him to keep it outside.

And then the police interrogates him, because the customer (Nathan, in case I will keep recapping this) accidentally killed a homeless guy with the catfood he bought.

Newbie tells the police that Nathan was all angered when he left the store and that Newbie told him not to buy the catfood, but he insisted on buying it anyway like a crazy person. Oh, Newbie. ♥

Poor Nathan, though.

I wish mid nineties DVDs would come in better quality.

It's a Canadian tv show. I love it very much, but the humour is kinda special. I think you might appreciate it, though. Plus, cute Callum. That can never hurt. ;)

Sadly it is back to it's original price. It has 13 episosed and only 7 are with Callum. But Don and Hope are all kinds of amazing, too. I think it is worth the money. Plus customs fee even.

Hope (the former girlfriend of Nathan and now kinda girlfriend of Curtis, the main character who lives in an appartment house and rents out rooms and never leaves the house and only watches tv all day) tells him they got a free room and asks him if he wants to move in. He used to be friends with Curtis when they went to college.

Callum falling is one of the best things ever.

He's a Hufflepuff!!!!

No, they could not sit any closer if they tried. :D

When Curtis and Newbie geek out about the tv shows Newbie has taped (well, it was the mid 90s. ;)) Newbie mentiones BSG and how he loves it and I squee. :D

And Newbie is the adorable one. Curtis is loveable despite being so unlovable. Yes, I know. But it is just a fact. ;)

And well, I can go on with other Callum things. Not like his credits are a short list.

Oh, Purple Toast. Haha. Don't ask me about plot. It was Callum's first movie and it is some independent art junk stuff. I am not smart enough for that kind of stuff, I guess. He is some kind of psychic detective and gets told by a woman to find her daughter and then he walks through more or less beautiful landscapes to weird music and then the movie is over.

Purple Toast is an interesting title. It looks like it was just an excuse to have him look pretty and meaningful. Not that I'm complaining! But I like there to be at least a little plot in a movie. :D

It was back in his alcohol abusive phase. And he didn't have his tattoo yet either. This movie is bad. Or maybe it is really good. You know, if you get it.

CKR: You kind of want to slow it down to your own pace, so in moments, because of the speed of shooting, the speed of, the freneticness of Carl, I've gotten a bit frustrated at times, but you know, and with me needing to know maybe too much, or whatever. But it seems to have resolved itself all the time, it doesn't get loaded down. It sort of diffuses at a certain point.

It was. I had to stay away from him for a week or so afterwards and I think this might be the only movie I will never rewatch ever again. And I rewatch crap like Slap Shot II and the like for Callum. Well, eventually I will. ;)

Yeah, that just proves that they are really good actors if they can play so convincing. Haven't seen Quills yet, but of course I know Michael Caine and know he could play sadistic as well as anything else.

I love Callum's experimental hair. And it was so pretty on this show. I want to run my fingers through it. ;)

There is a scene later I had to watch several times, because his awesome hair kept me from listening to the dialog properly. Okay, his hair and the running shower behind the door he was talking to. But mostly his hair.

I did mention he can wear anything and make it look sexy, right?

Yeah, except when he has longer hair. I like to call all his hair experimental hair and the real spikey one surprised experimental hair, cause that is how Paul called it in an interview and on the show. ♥

I love Paul so much. I know, it doesn't show, since my love for Paul is not quite as loud as my love for Callum, but I think that is because Callum is not quite as loud as Paul and my love wants to make up for that. Or something.

This is so perfectly them. Callum all shy and Paul keeps talking and talking and talking.

Parts I like best.

The moderator noticing that Callum is uncomfortable and *turns head to Paul* "Back to you", probably thinking, you might not shut ut ever, but we need to fill 10 minutes here and the other one doesn't talk unless I force him to. :D

And the vegetarian part.

Mod: So you are a vegetarian?
Callum: Sometimes.
Mod: If you ask people what they had for dinner last night, you find something out about them. We now know that he is a partial vegetarian. That could have been interesting.
Callum: Could have been.
Paul: You are a partial vegetarian. You only eat the ocassional cow.

So, I was incredibly weak and skipped ahead to s3 (Mom and I are still on s1, and we're moving kind of slowly) and even with all my Callum love I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy RayK as much as the other Ray, but OMG. OMG! He's so adorable!

Yay!

I was first very confused and not at all convinced I'd like RayK. But then there was the licking. And the touching of the inner thigh. And by the end of the first ep I totally loved him.

Like my icon said, love at first lick. :D

As much as I sometimes curse Paul for making season three and four (just season three for you Americans, cause apparently you can't deal with 13 ep seasons ;)) a bit too slapsticky, I love that he made all the characters more dimensional and shifted the focus away from Fraser a bit.

The first time I heard Paul in an interview was one where he used the f word a lot. I could not believe my ears. My Mountie was swearing. That is so wrong. ;)

But one gets used to it and I love his "I will always be a 12 year old boy" humour and attitude.

Well, it's kind of like when I got into Doctor Who, and I knew that Christopher Eccleston was only temporary, and that soon he would be replaced by David Tennant, and I wasn't really okay with that because I dearly loved Eccleston, but then I found that there was also room in my heart for Tennant, and I have come to love Tennant's Doctor for completely different reasons than the ones I have for Eccleston.

It is definitely different in season 3 (Americans are silly about their TV, let me tell you), and it's a little improbable at times, but it's also nice that they were able to continue the show, you know? And it is great that we're getting to see new dimensions to all the characters, like you said. :D

I have not heard Paul curse yet. I'm sure I'll be suitably shocked. :D

Kind of like with me and Daniel and Jonas. Everyone told me I would hate Jonas, but I loved him. Just for different reasons than Daniel. I don't see the sense in hating someone just because they are replacing someone else.

Yes, I totally agree. Also, where would I be now if it weren't for RayK? It would have been so much harder to discover Callum. And I love Callum so much.

I only have a few clips of Geoffrey cursing. But that is funny, too. Not sure if Paul's interview is still up on youtube.

And I like that the subject still reads "photobucket hates me", cause I can't get into my subfolders and therefor can't continue spamming at the moment. There will be pictures later. And maybe a clip of Geoffrey using the f-word. :D

And yes, Ziva is also awesome. My advantage in that situation was that I started watching in the third season while the first started here in Germany, so it was kinda like getting to know both of them at the same time.

Photobucket is weird. I blame Indiana Jones. They have this huge animated commercial running in the background since yesterday or so and nothing works for me anymore. *sporks*
