I'm having fun making a topper for a groom's cake for a family friend. It's a couple kayaking. The Sculpey is driving me crazy, though. The oars are super thin, and they keep bending strangely. Plus I forgot to give the bride a veil when I sculpted her face and hair, and now I've got to figure out how to add one without making her look ridiculous. Fun times!

I love living out in the middle of nowhere, but tonight it's not fun times--the local band of coyotes keeps buzzing the house. It's especially fun because the fog outside is so thick you could cut it with a knife, and the coyotes only start yipping and howling when they've completely surrounded the house, so we get serenaded in surround sound. I'm just a few B-movie actors short of a horror film.

I am having way too much fun with my tablet, which I have yet to name.

I really really hate the two weeks that encompass Season Finale Time. Like, hate. Hate hate hate hate. Hate.

I especially hate having to watch two finales in one night. Two finales that played me like a cheap piano and left me feeling fierce wretched, and closer to sniffles than I am really comfortable with.

No kidding, Mom nearly had to stage a TV intervention tonight. After House, I had to ask for a hug, because OMG, House, and then fifteen minutes into Bones I needed a hug, and then at the end of Bones I needed a hug, and Mom was like, "You know it's just fiction, right? They're not real people, Alex. Am I going to have to cut you off?"


HATE.

I was warned about watching "Countrycide." ALL THE WARNINGS WERE RIGHT. For your viewing pleasure, photographic proof that this was a very special episode of Torchwood.
