Alex "Dead Man Walking."

Danny: So who's she?

Alex: That's Gwen. Remember the girl who got killed by the Gelf? Same actress. Characters might be related, too.

Danny: Oh. Who's she?

Alex: Tosh. She's adorable, science-geeky, has a crush on Owen. That guy there, that's Owen, Willem Defoe's cuter younger brother. Who is dead.

Danny: That guy's suit is NICE.

Alex: Oh, that's Ianto. He's sort-of-kind-of Jack's boyfriend.

Danny: ... Jack likes guys?

Alex: Um. Where were you for S1 of Doctor Who?

Danny: ...I just thought he was really friendly.

Alex: Really really friendly.

We had to have a talk about how Jack likes boys and girls and squids and whatnot. And then I had to tell him what "shagging" meant. And explain why Owen got mad when the girl stuck her hand down his pants.

It's strenuous watching TW with my younger brother.

You know what this means? Danny's going to have to be slowly (and I do mean slowly) introduced to Doctor Who, Torchwood, Star Trek, etc fandoms. Just don't tell him about the mass orgies until he's around 20, 21?.

And lol about having to talk about Jack liking "boys and girls and squids and whatnot." Jack is just the universe's ho, plain and simple as that. Which we all know he has no problems with.

Haha. I can only imagine (and I mean only as I have never met anyone in your family) the expression on his face if he ever comes across fanfics involving Jack/The Doctor, Jack/random alien#12907, and/or Jack/Jim/James (if you and scifigirl ever flesh that story out).

You know, I think that's his catchphrase. "Hi, I'm Captain Jack Harkness, time traveler and happy to be the universe's ho."
