Introducing.... SPAWNY!

Backstory:

My computer has problems. It's always crashing at crucial moments. It doesn't really like opening Word documents that much right now. It doesn't even really like me that much right now.

A bit ago Sarah and I were talking about names for our laptops. She named hers Hal [Heh]. I jokingly called mine Spawn of Satan.

Today it was very bad. It decided to show its true colors.

I present to you: Spawn of Satan! Spawny, for short.

Oooh! Selmak! That's a perfect name for a computer!

See... Ever since I knew I was getting a laptop I've been trying to make up a nifty name for it. Nothing worked. It's been acting up since about a year ago.

This semester I could take it no more and I named it Spawny. Maybe if I named it something like StarlightSweetnessChocolateCake it would get better? *pokes Spawny peevishly*

I have another computer that I thought might act up, so I promised to name him after a king if he was good. He's been good ever since and is now named Elessar (aka Aragorn). *snicker* And I had another computer named Wedge (X-wing pilot). Never had trouble with any of them. ;)

Eeee! Wedge! I had a pocket calculator named Wedge. It lasted for three years until it died a noble death due to battery failure. Poor Wedge.

Hmm. But I rather like the name "Spawny." :/

It is a cute name. I'm just saying that in my experience the name has helped determine the device's personality.
