stoopbeckI've been so down these last couple of weeks it's kind of ridiculous. But! Cutting myself off from the internet and you wonderful people is not the way to go about life. I know you're dying to know what's been going on with me, amirite? OKAY!
Good things:
Our family Christmas village now has a Hellboy and Dr. McNinja and his sidekick Gordito. AWESOME. I'll have to take pictures. mini!Hellboy mostly hangs out with the headless washerwoman and the penguins. (YES OUR CHRISTMAS VILLAGE IS JUST THAT AMAZING) Any suggestions on fandom people to make next?
Scary things:
While driving around Deatsville today, I saw a Christmas display that had a crucified Santa in the back. UM WHAT. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe, and then I laughed so hard I cried. It was pretty amazing. OMG YOU GUYS CRUCIFIED SANTA WHAT.
Ridiculous things:
Our chocolate lab's been horribly ill for a while, but especially last week. Fortunately, Dad figured out why--apparently eating azalea leaves makes dogs high. Very high. And then causes a lot of neurological damage. We're going to have to cut down all of our azaleas now, because if she eats any more she could die. IT'S LIKE OUR DOG IS AN AFTERNOON SPECIAL.

I don't have my license yet, mostly because I fail at life.

Date: 2008-12-21 01:03 am (UTC)I'm thinking you and maybe Sara (since she didn't get to go to the concert last year) could come to my place (or somewhere) and we can play board games, chat, listen to music, generally act like weirdos, whatever while we wear silly hats and play with poppers and glitter (any maybe sparklers!). We can have snacks and assorted beverages (Strawberry Hill?!) in a safe place and stay up all night if we want...
