Alex: Oh, wait, I know the one you mean. With, uh, what's-her-name, Emma Thompson, right?
Dad: What movie is this?
Danny: THE WORST MOVIE EVER MADE.
Dad: Howard's End?
Danny:No! I can't remember the name. So the butler, he's in love, but he can't be in love because he loves his duty more, and he has to follow in his father's footsteps--
Alex: So he dies old and alone just like his father, and regrets that he and the love interest never got together, and oh my god it was depressing.
Danny: Remains of the Day!! That's the name!
Dad: Yeah, I'd heard that one was bad.
Alex: You know, there is no movie that cannot be improved by the judicious application of zombies.
Dad: There should be a zombie version of it! They could call it Remains of the Day of the Zombies!!
Danny: The Dead Remains of the Day of the Dead Zombies!!
Alex: THE REMAINS OF THE DEAD!!!
Danny: "Sir, I feel I should inform you that we are being attacked by zombies."
Dad: "Your brains, sir."
Alex: "I'm terribly sorry, sir, but we have to attack you now."
Dad: You realize you're going to have to write that screenplay, right?
OMG NEW FLASHPOINT EPISODE TONIGHT. I'm so glad it changed nights; the scheduling issues were driving me crazy. If you are not watching that show already, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Oh, yeah, and there's a new Burn Notice tonight. EXCITEMENT!

-It's character-driven.
It's also beautifully filmed. And it features epic man-pain!
Mom says her favorite thing about it is that it's not all about the shooting (in fact, it's their goal to avoid shooting anyone) and that the most important part of the show is character interactions.
My brother's all about the epic man-pain.
Seriously, though, it's pretty awesome. You should totally check it out. I'm sure Roadie would be more than willing to convince you as well. *g* She's the one who made me Tivo the first episode.
