Apparently I have some sort of food allergy. Which would explain why I have a stomachache all the time. Now I just have to figure out what makes my tummy unhappy, and not eat it.

Easier said than done. The quick and dirty way of determining food allergies is to only eat rice for three days (and presumably only drink water, which is going to be considerably harder for me than the rice, because ew, water), and then slowly add other foods, noting which ones cause problems. Fun times!

In fandom news, I'm getting my mother through her Life withdrawal by making her watch Burn Notice. Yay!

Maybe you're allergic to Coke.

God, wouldn't that be ironic?

Oh bummer. Good luck with that! I've had a stomach ache all week too - but I can't figure out if it's nerves/stress or if I ate something wrong. Either or both are very possible. Guess it's rice for me too. Although I really like water. ;)

Apparently it's milk. I've had problems with it in the past, so fun times, right? I'm sorry you've been having a stomach ache-- that's no fun!

I really don't like water very much. It makes me gag for some reason. :\

Makes you gag? Really? How very strange. Yeah, I'm vegan so I'm lactose intolerant too. Usually that's my problem - when I accidently eat something that isn't completely dairy-free. But right now I think it's something else or maybe just stress. Good luck with your intolerance! And go get some sugar-free kool-aid to put in your water! ;)

The water thing is apparently genetic; my dad's the same way, and my grandmother was, too. *shrugs*

Mmmm, Kool-Aid!

Is this a self diagnosis, or doctor?

It's a mom-and-dad diagnosis.

But it turns out I'm allergic to dairy, which happens every now and then, and I usually compensate by cutting out milk and cheese and ice cream completely from my diet, and then about a month later I can have it again. But I've become so dependent on cheese and my daily cups of tea (with milk) that it's probably going to be more of an issue.

Luckily they've got non-lactose milk and Lactaid.
