Jan. 18th, 2008 06:53 pmApparently I have some sort of food allergy. Which would explain why I have a stomachache all the time. Now I just have to figure out what makes my tummy unhappy, and not eat it.
Easier said than done. The quick and dirty way of determining food allergies is to only eat rice for three days (and presumably only drink water, which is going to be considerably harder for me than the rice, because ew, water), and then slowly add other foods, noting which ones cause problems. Fun times!
In fandom news, I'm getting my mother through her Life withdrawal by making her watch Burn Notice. Yay!

Date: 2008-01-23 02:00 pm (UTC)But it turns out I'm allergic to dairy, which happens every now and then, and I usually compensate by cutting out milk and cheese and ice cream completely from my diet, and then about a month later I can have it again. But I've become so dependent on cheese and my daily cups of tea (with milk) that it's probably going to be more of an issue.
Luckily they've got non-lactose milk and Lactaid.
