stoopbeckOMG. Patrick McGoohan was the first choice to play both Dumbledore and Gandalf, but he TURNED THEM DOWN.
This is the same man who, back in the day, turned down the role of James Bond, and suggested they use the relatively unknown Sean Connery instead. Crazy man.
But seriously. As much as I love Richard Harris and Ian McKellan, Patrick McGoohan... would have been so amazingly perfect omg.
