Isn't that just the cutest?

stoopbeckI've just realized that I've fallen victim to one of the most annoying phrases anyone can use. People who use the word "cute" obsessively have always figured highly on my list of pet peeves... "ISN'T that JUST the CUTEST?" Bleah. But just a few hours ago I caught myself using it-- Quote: "Oh my GOD those SHOES are JUST the CUTEST!" The horror, the horror...
Now, don't get me wrong. It's okay to use "cute" in small doses... "Cute shirt." "Cute cartoon." "Aww, that baby is so cute." But there is a line that can be crossed... and I've crossed it. I wonder if they have a support group for that?
Words to stop using: cute, wow, dude, totally, sweet, like
Good goals, yes, but it's going to be a whole lot harder to talk from now on...
