Alex: *happily IMing friends and cleaning out the 158 messages in her Inbox*

Computer: *freezes*

Computer: *is shut down*

Computer: *crashes upon restart*

Ten restarts and an hour later...

Computer: *freezes*

Alex: *screams defiance to the uncaring sky, then presses restart again*

Computer: *freezes, while smirking at the enraged and quietly sobbing Alex*

Alex: GAHHHH FINE! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH I WISH YOU'D DIE ALREADY! HAPPY? ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?

Computer: *crashes*

Alex: *headplants*

Alex: Fine. Fine. I give up. Tomorrow, I take you in to the Tech Team. They'll figure out what's wrong, and then you'll be sorry! Sorry, d'ye hear?!

Off Button: *is pressed repeatedly and violently*

Nothing: *happens*

Alex: *jams off button a few more times*

After ten minutes...

Screen: "Shutting down random program you've never heard of before..."

Alex: ...

Screen: "Shutting down other random program you've never heard of before"

Alex: [with more feeling and anger and rage and despair] ..........!

Screen: "Shutting down Screen Proxy..."

Alex: "OMGWTH????"

All Those Windows Alex Has Been Trying To Open For The Last Hour: *open*

Computer: *shuts down*

Alex: *sob*


For all concerned parties [yeah, all one of you], after that last shutdown I foolhardedly started up my computer again. Hey, twenty-third time's the charm, right? And... it worked. Nothing was wrong. Everything worked like a dream.

Alex: *cries*
