So. Where to begin?
Spawny was so sick yesterday that I finally took him in to the Tech Team. They asked me what was wrong.
"Um. How much time we got?"
They looked at each other nervously, and then gave me a "tell more" look.
"Okay. Well, for starters, I started it up this morning and the desktop was frozen."
"...Frozen?"
"Yeah."
"Huh. Well, we'll see what we can do."
I was feeling very very ill at the time, so I went back to my room and slept for a few hours. Let me just say, fever dreams are teh fun. Except not.
Later on, I woke up and ran back down to the Tech Team to check on my baby. When I walked in, all conversation stopped. They looked at me as though I were a baby-eating small-animal-torturing monster.
"Uh... hi, how's my computer?"
One of them spoke up. "Uh... I think you hold the campus record for the amount of spyware on your computer. And I've found at least seven viruses. And I had to use my computer to even get into your computer to fix things."
"Oh. So... not done yet?"
"NO."
I went back to my room. It's insane the amount of stuff I do on that laptop. It's also insane how much time I waste on it. I read three books last night.
This morning, Spawny came home. They changed a few things, and apparently Explorer had died altogether so I'm using Firefox instead. He also doesn't overheat anymore. I'm so glad to have you back, Spawny. Hug time.
