So, Emily? I saw "Garden State." Finally.

In fact, we went into GameStop to buy Halo2 for my brother and it was in the movie rack, on sale, so we bought it ON YOUR WORD ALONE. You so rock. [!!!!!!!!!] [No, really. !!!!!!!!!!]

I now have a new favorite movie. [And so does my mom... I foresee us watching it many many times in the future.] It's just so... amazing! The way it's filmed, the acting [Natalie Portman can act? Who knew?], the directing, all of it combining into a perfect whole that makes me want to spend all of my waking hours watching it over and over and over. Heh. But really. Thanks. *huggles you*

Natalie Portman can act? Who knew?

I thought that when I saw Life As A House. I was like, "Wait a minute, Hayden Christenson can actually *act*!?! And this time the whinning is a good thing!"

HA! Exactly! I don't know what it was about Episodes I and II, but... dang. They sure didn't show Natalie and Hayden's better side. I can only hope *crosses fingers* that maybe Ep III'll be better. [please? pretty please?]

See, I knew going into it Natalie could act. But Hayden was so new we didn't know yet. It's unfair to really saw they're horrible actors 'cause it's not the most... eloquent script... but they did kinda suck. Have you seen Life as a House though?

I haven't seen it, but it's on my list of must-sees. My mom watched it, though, and said Hayden's acting was great. Of course... she also liked his acting in Ep 2, so...

'cause it's not the most... eloquent script...

Heh. Heheheh.

You know, I think it's probably the directing as well. As blasphemous as it seems to say it, Lucas... has problems in that area. And in the script area. And in the character area. But I digress.

So... Life as a House is good?

Lucas isn't exactly a Baz type of director..

But yeah, LaaH is good. Britt and I have a lot of inside jokes about it. *grin*
