For those of you who haven't seen the movie "The Ring" [if there are any, that's amazingly sad], I won't be too spoilery. The basic premise is that there's this tape, and if you watch it, you die seven days later. But freaky stuff happens in the meantime. One of the freaky things is that your face is all distorted when you take pictures or video of yourself.
I went to an awards banquet my senior year [ironically it was held in Huntingdon's DH] with a group of friends. "The Ring" had come out not too long before, and we were trying to convince a friend to go see it. She declined, on the basis that she didn't like scary movies.
Later on, we took pictures.

I'd just like to note that the only person not distorted a la creepy Ring-like distortion is Ashley, who didn't ever watch the movie. Heh. Muy awesome, no?
