Ah, frenzied worry.
Aug. 15th, 2005 09:25 pmSo, Mom's going in for surgery tomorrow. I'm going with Dad to wait for her to come out of it. Hopefully she won't have to stay overnight, but if she does, I'll be staying with her.
Mom took me to MovieStop, and in a frenzy of pre-Mommy-surgery angst, I bought a lot of DVD's I really don't need. On the plus side, thanks to a fantastic sale, I am now addicted to The Dead Zone. I only have S1 [for less than $20! What a bargain!], and I've only seen three eps, but it's omg so good, and it's a good distraction. I plan to watch eps and possibly read fanfic [if there've been any good updates] until I'm too tired to think, and then I shall go to sleep for a few hours and then I shall go and sit in the hospital and try to work on sketches while Mom goes under the knife.
If it's not asking too much, if you could just keep her in your thoughts. It's just minor stuff, but I am a world-class worrier, and I've watched waaay too much House MD and other medical shows to be able to keep seriously calm about this.
Now on with the Dead Zone marathon...
