Darn. I was "all set" to work this morning [for "all set" read "either asleep or adead, just so freaking tired and achey] and then I got awakened at 6 in the morning to be told that, in fact, it was too cold to work [I love this job] and that everyone was staying home. Yay! Problem: I have to work tomorrow. So, two days of work in a row, no recup time. Ah, well.. at least I get paid Wednesday! One plus side of being stuck at home is that I slept. And slept. And slept and slept and slept. I feel better though. This morning I felt like death warmed over [mmmm, death]. Now I feel like death cooked fresh with sides of green beans, mashed potatoes and cornbread. Mmmm, mashed potatoes.
Dylan Thomas is teh kewl. We watched a tv production of "A Child's Chrismas In Wales" with Denholm Eliot [also teh kewl] reading. So. Great.
Ooh! I almost forgot! "Children of the Gods" came on tonight, and I got Dad to watch that scene where O'Neill and Carter are about to go through the gate, and she's technobabbling, and he just pushes her in... Bit by bit, Dad's defenses will weaken and he, too, will watch stargate. *rubs hands together in a manner best befitting a Bond villain or Snidely Whiplash*
Now I must go collapse some more.
