Here's my situation: Danny and I are playing a pretty sweet game that lets you play as various Marvel heroes. It's cooperative play, and a lot of the challenges require you to rely completely on your teammate(s).

Danny and I just spent the last fifteen minutes yelling at each other. Mostly because his Ghost Rider set my Iron Man on fire, and killed him. Which, yeah, okay, fog of war, sometimes that stuff happens. You're not supposed to be able to do friendly fire, but apparently the dark elves can set themselves as allies so you can't hurt them, and when Ghost Rider sets the dark elves on fire, the fire spreads to all their allies, which, in this case, included Iron Man. So Iron Man died, Danny and I had words, we moved on. Two minutes later, I'm Wolverine, and Danny sets me on fire, and the only reason Wolverine didn't die is because he has a healing factor, and I'm like, "YOU SET ME ON FIRE," and Danny responds with "NO WAY YOU SET YOURSELF ON FIRE" and I'm like, "WHO HERE HAS A CHARACTER WHO SETS PEOPLE ON FIRE? THAT'S RIGHT, YOU DO" and he says, "ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR" and yeah.

So, am I just completely overreacting? I mean, all he has to do is not use that particular power around dark elves, and he can stop setting his teammates on fire. But he figures that a) he never set anyone on fire, not really, nope, and b) that if he did maybe possibly kind of set me on fire, it's my fault for standing too close to the dark elf, which, HELLO, WE WERE FIGHTING IN CLOSE QUARTERS.

Thoughts? Solutions? Anyone want a little brother? I'm prepared to ship him.

Solution: Dig a deep hole. Throw Danny in it. Apply dirt.

No, you're not overreacting because I've played with Danny and knows he likes to do things repeatedly, regardless of their effect. Also, he's a teenage boy.

I think you should do what your mom does and say, "If you're going to keep doing that, we're not going to play together anymore" or something like that. Even if you REALLY want to play, you have to be firm or he'll keep doing things as normal. *pats*

Ultimately, you need to steal the XBox and bring it to live at my house so you'll visit more often. ;)

THIS IS A BRILLIANT PLAN.

I want to buy a used XBox so that I can have one of my very own, but my dad's all OMG USED XBOX IS NOT GOING TO WORK, but it's not like I can buy a new original XBox, and there's no way I'm spending an arm and a leg on an XBox 360 if it's just going to die on me.

Sometimes, used stuff is the best stuff.

My sister and I had screaming matches like that whenever we live together (or spend more than a day in the same company) mainly because we are both right and dammit the other one is going to realize it if we have to pound it in their head.

Though we never had to work togther before. I guess just follow Sarah's advice in teaching him that if you are to play togther then you have to actually work together.

We have screaming matches quite a lot (although they're quiet, so they don't disturb our parents), mostly because, yeah, we're both buttheads who are convinced that we and only we are the party in the right.

It's hard, though, because he can make me feel like total shit. I've been trying to be strong, and it's working overall, but it's incredibly hard. :P

Maybe Wolverine was making out with Phoenix and it got a little too hot and heavy. >.>

HAHAHAHAHA

Except, you know, we kind of killed off Jean. For permanant. Maybe. We had to choose between her and Nightcrawler, and really, that's not a choice at all. So we sent her plummetting to her (maybe) doom. Go us!
