Oh bother.

So, I've got this screenplay that I wrote for a class my last semester of college. I spent like seven months trying to weed out every spare word and bit of description in this baby, per my professor's instructions.

And now I'm turning it into a novel. Meaning I have to expand upon and flesh out all the bits that I oh-so-carefully winnowed out. I've got to cram prose in there like prose is going out of style. It's incredibly frustrating, but it's also kind of awesome.

Sarah, I really really hope I can finish before the ninth...

Bummer. If only you could get the old version and put back those words you weeded out. Try and have fun though, it's your baby after all.

On another topic, I have seen you mention Neverwhere here, I just haven't paid that much attention. I was helping my son with his book report on Stardust and Google threw out a list of Neil Gaiman's other works. Your name popped into my head when I saw that he also wrote Neverwhere. It's good, is it?

It's quite good. Worlds better than Stardust, in my opinion. I read it three or four times a year. I highly recommend it.

If I become famous, first thing I have to do is buy my parents a beach house in return for sending me to college.

BUT AFTER THAT. Sure, car. :D
