Alex: Aaaand one more chapter, and I can get to work on my --
The Internet: Hey! Have you checked out all your favorite webcomics? I bet they've updated!
Alex: ...
The Internet: VGCats! Update!
Alex: ...Well, it'll only take a minute...
And now, here I am, at almost midnight with no substantial work done on my screenplay. I need 40-60 pages by... let's see... Thursday. No problem!
The Internet: *whispers* TelevisionWithoutPity...
Alex: I'm doomed.

Date: 2007-05-02 04:38 pm (UTC)Sometimes I am really glad that I am about 10 years older than you guys and somehow the internet wasn't as big a distraction back in my days. Well, if it was, I at least didn't know about it. Of course it would have prevented me from cleaning sprees in order to prevent homework/studying.
