Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
Letter P given to me by:
alana_eldora
(1) PACHECO-WEST. As crazy as it's been having a hyphenated last name, I rather enjoy it. It makes me feel more British. :] Plus, it's fun to say.
(2) PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. NOT the Kiera Knightly one. We're talking the BBC version, with Colin Firth in period clothing, with his broody eyes and his long stares out into the moors... and of course, the actual book by the amazing and wonderful Jane Austen.
(3) PANTS. Especially those of the leather and/or velvet variety, especially on members of the opposite sex.
(4) POMPEII. I spent hours watching the TV specials on Pompeii. I've always been fascinated by it-- by everything from the art recovered to the people shapes formed by ash settling over the less fortunate. The dog, especially.
(5) PEBBLE BEACH. It's secluded, it gets good sun, it's a little out-of-the-way, but worth the trip, definitely. Especially if one's friends come along. ;]
(6) PIE. Mmmmm, pie. 'Nuff said.
(7) PINSTRIPED SUITS. Don't know why, but they're omghot. Especially old gangster movies, when the gangsters wear pinstriped zoot suits. Zoot suits are omghot, too.
(8) PENGUINS/PIGEONS. Because they're so easy to confuse, you know.
(9) PUMPERNICKEL BREAD. Mmmm, it's always been one of my favorite types of bread. Especially for roast beef sandwiches with horseradish and tomato. Mmmm, mmm, good.
(10) PINEAPPLES. They're CRAZY, man! They're all crazy spiky, with weird colors and textures, and they look painful, but they're really really good to eat. Honest.
(Bonus) PAUL MCCARTNEY. He lives in my hood! He drinks tea! What more could a girl ask for?
Also, it's about that time again.
And two more:
very soul of me
or my accomplishments what
i will be right in
handyman a ghost
a spooky mansion and a
chest x-ray fantastic
[...and a partridge in a pear tree...]
