stoopbeckMy good deed for the day: We went to Wal-Mart and were wandering in the fish section, trying not to look at the little piles of fish bodies in the corners of each tank or the rampant cannibalism going on before our very eyes. As we meandered, we came to the goldfish tank, wherein we found a goldfish... with no tail. Just a wee nubbin where a tail should be. There were scales, so we figured she'd had a nub since the day she hatched. George bought her and we took her back with us. She's now installed in the fishtank in 223. She so cute! Just an amazing fish, all around.

1. What is your occupation? Student. I groundskeep in the summer and breaks.
2. What color are your underwear? Purple.
3. What are you listening to right now? "Mad World"--Gary Jules
4. What was the last thing you ate? Some sort of cheesy bagel from Panera that Mary Katherine gave me. :]
5. Do you wish on stars? Only if I see a shooting one.
6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Cerulean.
7. How is the weather right now? Humid and cool. It might rain tonight, later on.
8. Last person you spoke to on the phone? The mama.
9. Guilty pleasure you will admit to... First person shooter video games.
10. How old are you today? 20.
11. Favorite drink? Cranberry Juice Cocktail, Mountain Dew, Lemon-Lime Gatorade.
12. Favorite sport to watch? Soccer. At least I can understand most of the rules.
13. Have you ever dyed your hair? Nope. Unless the time I rubbed Kool-Aide in it to put "streaks" in it counts. It didn't really show up, so I guess it doesn't.
14. Do you wear contacts or glasses? I should, but I don't. It's impractical to get glasses only for one eye, and it's cumbersome putting a contact in just one.
15. Pets? Four plants and joint ownership of Nubbin McGee/Fisheh McNubb, the tailless wonder.
16. Favorite Month? Each month is my favorite for various reasons.
17. Favorite food? Bread. And cobbler. And roast beef. And mashed potatoes. And grapes.
18. What was the last movie you watched? Ned Kelly
19. Favorite day of the year? Hrm. Whatever day the meteor showers show up.
20. What do you do to vent anger? It depends. Last time I really vented, I broke a pointy stabby clay tool.
21. What was your favorite toy as a child? I had a lot of favorite toys, but the one that stayed my favorite was Baba, the apparently creepy pillow with red-stitched eyes.
23. Hugs or kisses? Both are perfectly acceptable. :]
24. Cherry or Blueberry? Cherry.
25. Current title of book you're reading? An Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life, I think is what it's called. Pretty interesting.
26. Classes for this semester? American History 1865-present, World Literature, Literary London, Shakespeare's Tragedies, Medieval Literature, Advanced Poetry Writing, The Prelude, The Gargoyle
27. Last vacation or place visited? I went to Fort Toulouse last weekend.
28. Living arrangements? Dorm, home on holidays.
29. Last time you cried? Friday.
30. What is on the floor of your closet? Hrm. Shoes, drinks, shampoo, food, notebooks, books, clothes, etc
31. Who is the friend you have had the longest? Probably Samantha and Erin.
32. What did you do last night? Wasted a lot of time, and wrote half of my paper due today.
33. Favorite smell? Bread baking. Or a roast cooking. Or apples cooking. Or oranges. Or lavendar.
34. What inspires you? A lot of things. Right now, my tailless fish.
35. What are you afraid of? Heights, bugs, lobotomies
36. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers? Spicy, mmm.
37. Favorite car? I like the style of the cars from the twenties. Can't think of any in particular, though.
38. Favorite dog breed? Labs, especially chocolate labs. English bulldogs aren't far behind, though.
