Wow. Tonight's been... special.

In other news, I've hurt my back somehow. I can't think of anything I've done that would make it upset, though. Hmmm.

Also, I now have the Traveling Wilburys on my wall. On napkins. With crayon. They're absolutely brilliant. And one of them's a turtle, and one of them's a pineapple. And Bob Dylan's just really intent on playing his guitar, man.

1. People who don't know what they're talking about, but continue to do so. Loudly.

2. People that think that, since a movie's in black and white, it's stupid or has less depth or is harder to understand. And that black and white is merely a bland lack of color, despite the fact that it is GORGEOUS to watch. The lighting, ye gods, the lighting!

3. Stereotyping. Sick and tired of it. Since I am a Southern female, I'm automatically pregnant, ignorant, married to my cousin, so on and so on. As a corollary, I'm tired of people making racist jokes.
Word to the wise-- it doesn't make you popular or cool. It makes you racist.

4. Eggs.

5. Snobs. It's more fun when you've got a diverse group. They're only hurting themselves.

6. Testimonial ads. Like I'm gonna buy a Coke because Lance Armstrong tells me to. Please.

7. My handwriting. Especially when I'm tired, it gets so bad that I doubt anyone anywhere could read it. I also get more and more slydexic when I'm tired, so "The dog walked through the forest" becomes "The dgo waltked rouhgh gaaaah kill pencil paper raaaaaa!"

Wow, I'm rather misanthropic tonight. Not tagging anyone, so on to the positive!

1. My lovely, wonderful, truly talented friends.

2. Sitting in the sunlight.

3. The smell of rain on hot pavement.

4. Reading. Especially reading books that make me feel uplifted or make me laugh myself sick. Books with interesting conflicted characters, where everyone comes out okay within reason in the end.

5. Using archaic words. Forsooth, it is soothing unto the very soul of me.

6. The Talking Heads.

7. Goldfish crackers.

Also. About the smart thing? Not so much. I only just now realized that the picture I got with the score and all is a rabbit. I thought it was a whale or something. Ahh, well. :]
