Family stuff.

My grandfather's pretty much reached the beginning of the end. We're going in tomorrow for a sort of deathbed vigil.

I went day before yesterday, and talked to him for a while. He couldn't really talk back much, but I told him about my day, and he laughed a lot, so I'll always have that to look back upon.

I went in yesterday, too. He was asleep for most of the time I was there.

Today, he wasn't waking up. So, yeah.

I realize this is a little TMI for, well, anyone. But I can't talk about it to actual people, you know, in actual conversation. Like, at all. So this is the only way I can really vent about it.

Also, thanks for all the kind wishes and thoughts and, uh, Monty Python DVDs and Atlantis marathons and so on, and so on. It's really helped.

As for tomorrow, we shall see what we shall see.

That's okay. I think I'll watch True Stories now. It's pretty much the world's least angsty movie. The only semi-angsty thing is wondering whether or not Louis the Bear will ever find a wife, or if he'll ever finish his song in time, so I think I'm pretty well-covered.
