Well, there’s Alas, Babylon and the LotR trilogy, and the Earthsea books, and various Agatha Christie mysteries, especially So Many Steps To Death, and the Belgariad, and To Say Nothing of the Dog, and A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch, and By the Light of the Moon, and as far as genre goes, I’m mostly a thriller/sci-fi/fantasy person, but I’ll read just about anything.
