I just got off the phone with my mom’s mom. She was full of helpful and calming advice, telling me to influence my mom not to have surgery done because even if they get everything out, they might not be able to get everything out, and it’ll just be worse for her, and even if they do get everything everything out, she’ll be so screwed up hormonally that her life will be a living hell. Thanks, Nana! I think I go cry in my corner now!

I know she means well. I know she loves us. But really. As if I weren’t keyed up enough about this. As if Mom’s not keyed up enough about this.


In other news. I'm almost finished with S1 of The Dead Zone. Alas. I don't want it to end. *pout* Only problem with the show is that it's so full of That Guys that I'm spending more time trying to figure out which other shows and eps I've seen them in that I miss out on major plot details. *sigh*

All in all, a totally freakin' awesome good first season. Now, if I can just justify to myself that I absolutely need S2...

Hmm. If you were a doctor, you probably were in first class... and I'll say I was in first class too, because drowning in a small room is near the top of my major irrational fears list. Ick. Not that, you know, drowning in open water is much better...
