This is how sad my life is.

I had just gotten back from an awesome afternoon with Samantha and Melyssa [woo, good times!] and had been singing Maroon 5 and Phantom songs in Samantha’s car.

No one else was home when I got back, so I let the dogs out. I was in a singing mood, so I sang Sunday Morning and This Love and the Notes song from Phantom. Then I got back into my room and turned on my compy. While I waited for it to wake up, I was singing that part of Phantom of the Opera when the Phantom is taking Christine down to his lair, and he’s telling her “Sing, my Angel of Music!” and she’s hitting impossibly high notes—-you know the one—-at the top of my lungs in the empty house, and right as I got to the part right before the insanely high-pitched scream/sing note, I hear a noise and little brother is standing in the door, grinning impudently at me.

Me: LAAAAAAAAAaaaahey, Danny…

Danny: *look of instant glee* Heh. Heheheh.

Ah, well.

Also. Today, I made the fatal error of looking into Wal-Mart’s bargain bin of movies for $5.50. I bought four movies—-True Stories [now I have my own copy! Woo!], Eye of the Beholder [don’t know what it’s about, but hey! Ewan McGregor! Ashley Judd! If it sucks, I can always trade it in for something else], Stories of Lost Souls [a Twilight Zone-esque collection of smallish segments starring such personages as Keira Knightly, Cate Blanchett, Paul Bettany, Hugh Jackman, and Billy Boyd—either really good or total crap], and Summer School [only because it has Mark Harmon. 80’s Mark Harmon! He’s got brown hair! He’s just a baby! And even if it sucks, as it is likely to do, it’s Mark Harmon. I’ll forgive him this once.]. Woo for wasting money on things I don't need!

Eye of the Beholder.

Yeeeeahhhh. Even Ewan couldn't save that movie.

Yeah... I just finished it. Daaaang.

Why, Ewan, why?

Although he does look mighty pretty. And if I were to be stalked, it... might... not be so bad if he was the one doing it... right? *sigh*

She's really bad in it I thought...

GAH. Seriously. What was UP with her performance? I know she can act. Why didn't she?!

By "Why, Ewan, why" I meant "Why did you take this stupid role in this stupid movie?!" But he's been in several clunkers, the dear boy.

Yeah, Ewan's been in some clunkers, but usually *his* performance is good. Except Emma. Yeow.
