Life! Don't talk to me about life.
May. 12th, 2005 10:35 pmWheeeee!
I'm going to see Hitchhiker's Guide tomorrow! Now I do the dance of joy.
Sad thing is, last night I dreamt I went and saw it. It was... strange. I kept trying to enjoy it, but there were random scenes like a thirty minute long travelogue for what looked like Hawaii interspersed between the action. And every once in a while, Arthur was played by Billy Boyd. And there were characters from Harry Potter in it. It was teh strange.
When I woke up this morning, first thought in my head was how disappointing the movie was. Then, realization set in. Silly me.
Random oddity of the day: Today I ran into one of Mom's co-workers. She complimented me on my haircut, saying that it looked really nice the way I had cut it. I smiled, nodded, and backed away quickly, because the last time I saw her, it was three inches shorter. Hmm... It was looking inexplicably pretty and curly today, something it does only when it feels like it... Maybe that's it?

Gah, what is it about hair cutting ladies? When I chopped off all my hair last summer, the lady there was convinced I had just started high school. I had to show her my college ID. I don't think she was convinced even then.
Which was really weird, because people have always had me pegged as older than I really was. When I was in high school, people thought I was in college. I hope this doesn't continue on in this fashion... I can just see myself trying to apply for a job ten years from now and being refused on the grounds that I look like I'm a preschooler.
Gah.
