Some of you may remember Spawny, my demon computer. Some of you may also remember that Spawny had gotten increasingly tetchy in the last few weeks. And then Spawny had a total collapse and had to be sent away for some "help."

Spawny is a changed compy. He no longer overheats, so I don't have to worry about him blowing up while I'm typing any more. No more popups, either. His fan is so quiet that I can hear from my speakers again.

It's amazing what a trip to the doc will do.

So he's no longer a motherless spawn of Satan. He's just a little Spawny who made some mistakes in his past and will now endeavor to make up for it. [I can just see him sneaking out of my window to go fight crime.]

Unfortunately, Clarence the Printer is not doing so well. He's low on ink. Poor Clarence. How will he get his wings if he doesn't print out my final papers?

[And yes. I am very tired. Sleep deprivation rocks my socks.]

I'm very glad that Spawny got "help."

I'll send up good thoughts to every deity I can think of on behalf of Clarence. And on a personal note: hang in there, Clarence! The semester is almost over!

Sadly, there are no well-furnished flats on campus. :(

But when Spawny's at my house, he lives on an antique minidesk/sewing machine with a chair that came from Ireland about a hundred or two years ago. Does that count? :D
