I'm not sure if this is just sleep deprivation dementia setting in or what, but this strikes me as almost indescribably funny.

So I'm typing up a paper for class, and I'm looking at what I have so far, and it just doesn't work. I realise that I should have "insanity" instead of "madness" [don't ask, really-- just suffice to say that it was a part about how waiting in PriMed waiting rooms is dangerous to your mental health]. Being the lazy slacker that I am, I figure that instead of actually deleting "madness" and typing in "insanity," I could just do that nifty "right-click-check-synonyms" cheat that Word has and get "insanity" off of that. Ingeniously lazy, if I do say so myself.

I right-click "madness." I go to "Synonyms." It gives me one synonym for madness.

"Illustrate."

Check it out.

God, I love Microsoft Word.

LOL

And I love you.

I am working on a little sleep deprivation experiment at the moment. So I find things funny that aren't as well. But this is. I love Microsoft.

Hee... Robyn and I worked it out. Apparently the compy read "illustrated--madness" as "illustrated." So the only synonyms for "illustrated" were "illustrate." Ah, well. It still amuses me. :D

Aww, I love you too!

A sleep deprivation experiment? Oooh! Sounds interesting. What sort of things are you doing with that? [Besides not sleeping, of course!]

*tired huggles*

I try to find a way to spend more time a day in my fandoms. I don't get anything done ever since I started to work fulltime in January. Right now I try to sleep four hours a night and then take a one to one and a half hour nap in the afternoon/evening when I get home from work. So far I'm doing surprisingly well. And am almost caught up on my fics and chores. (this is in order of importance ;))

Aww...

I did that last year. I had an 8:00 class every morning, and what with school work and various fandoms I didn't get in bed until 3-3:30 in the morning. Naps helped a lot.

I'm impressed! It's hard to be a serious fan with a fulltime job. You get a pat on the back!

Fics always come before chores. That would explain why I have so many dustbunnies under my desk. ;)

Hmm...

I love my computer, even though it is the spawn of Satan. It can keep me amused for hours with crazy things like this.
