Gah.
Recently we've been doing this family thing of going to the Y on the nice sunny days and getting in some pool time. Which can be fun and awesome, I'm here to tell you... I'm kind of getting a tan, I'm kind of working out... what more could I ask?
Today it was rainy, though, so we went into the large gymn and played basketball [another in the long lines of sports I am incapable of playing, sadly]. After a while, a few of my shots were more or less making it in, which always feels good. But soon we got so tired that we couldn't dribble any more.
Instead, we taught my parents how to play Four Square, quite possibly THE best sport EVER. I'm telling you, I'd watch the Olympics if they had Four Square.
There was some disagreement as to what the Kosher rules were, and we shed blood, sweat, and tears, but it was fun. Woo!
Tomorrow I get to use the weedeater for the first time. Not only do I get to use a dangerous piece of power equipment for the first time while under the watchful eye of one of the guys who worked here last summer. Woo...? *sigh* Wish me luck. Or something.
