Apr. 8th, 2005 09:26 pmI got all excited because I noticed that SciFi was playing reruns of Atlantis eps. I noticed that "Rising Pt 1" would be on, and ran and got my tape. They didn't mention it was an edited version. *grumbles*
Seriously. They cut out quite a few scenes. That scene? When Shepard is about to go through the wormhole for the first time? And Ford pulls a fast one on him? Gone. The scene where Jack talks to Shepard about his decision to go or not to go? Gone. Some others were gone, too, but I was too incensed to remember them.
What a great first episode.
Meanwhile, in real life: Dad acted like a monkey, I got into a poke fight with my brother that escalated into a slap fight and then a spit fight, the dog threw up, the cat attacked the other dog, and Mom sat at the dinner table with her head in her hands. Another swell night at the Pacheco-West household.
