As if people didn't already think this... and now I'm a wee bit worried.... why did Sarah get "boring" on hers? She's more random than I am! Hmm...

This weekend? Interesting. I went for my CT scan... which is a post in and of itself-- suffice it to say that I waited four hours in various places in various stages of sleep deprivation [watching some Clint Eastwood western with two men with massive heart problems in hospital gowns, no less] until I finally got my head scanned, but I won't get results until tomorrow. At my 3:30 appointment. After my 2:00 Spanish exam. Yeah. So we'll see how this works out.

This weekend we did the whole family thing... which was fun. Every year we put up this holiday village or what have you, with the little ceramic lighted houses and fake snow and little people skating and such, and every year we're on the lookout for nifty people to add. This year? Not so good, nifty people-wise. They're all badly painted, unorigional people. Yeah, little girl with a dog. Yeah, carolers. Yeah, rotting dessicated corpse. Wait... looks like someone didn't take away all the Halloween town little figures.... So we decided to make our own last night. Mom says the things we made are indicative of our characters. Hmm.

Danny made Calvin and Hobbes, plus some of Calvin's mutant snowmen. Dad made a bench and a planter that fit right in with everything else, and a pompous statue of the village's founder with a pigeon on it and a mutant killer monster snow goon. Mom made two Charlie Brown's Christmas trees. I halfway completed an obsessively detailed figure of Number Six from The Prisoner. Get it? Because he's trapped in The Village in the show? And our town is called the village? Right? Yeah. I know. I'm a nerd. My next figure, if I ever complete this one to my satisfaction, will be Jack Aubrey or Stephan Maturin. What town is complete without them?

And why do I find it so hard to sit down and do something productive? Gah. *MUST* *CONCENTRATE*
