Oct. 2nd, 2008 12:26 amSo um.
I have a puppy.
Oh my god, right? She's adorable. Her name is Coraline (Cora, for short), and she's a Lab mix, probably Boxer and Lab. The vet says she's about four and a half months old. She's a complete sweetheart, and terribly smart. She's still learning about where she's supposed to pee and what she can and can't chew on, but she can totally sit and fetch and look adorable on cue.
I think Mom and Dad thought this would be a healthy alternative to Prozac. And it's true that I've been spending so much time keeping her occupied that I've been too worn out to fret or panic. So, yay!
She's four and a half months old, and she'd been at the pound for two months. Apparently nobody wants puppies who turn into decent-sized dogs anymore? They were saying that probably nobody would have ever adopted her. It breaks my heart.
