My brother had a Boy Scout banquet this week, and I went because hey, free food, and it was kind of awesome. Dad and I got into an impromptu basketball game (which consisted of us spastically throwing balls and hoping they'd end up near the net, and pretending to look competant anytime anyone looked in), and the actual banquet went well, which was good for Danny, as he is the Patrol Leader.

Best part, though: so, during the banquet, we're sitting next to one of the boy's moms, whose previous job was Deep Space Radar Telemetry at NORAD. STARGATE WHAT.

My birthday was really nice. It's the first time I've been home for my birthday in a long time, and we had sushi and apple pie, and I ate way too much. Good times! And I was given The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and S1 of Criminal Minds, so woo!

My body woke me up at 4 this morning. This is not cool, body. Although this did give me the opportunity to catch up on email and f-list.

Hee, that's awesome! Not the bit about the late-night problems. Normally that's my issue, so I'm not happy that my body decided to shake things up a bit and wake me super early. Of course, I was totally ready when it was time for work, which is a plus.

Weird, but awesome. And late night problems always stink! I'm sorry we're both having them. But it is always nice to be ready to go in the morning.

Yeah, it was nice to get to work and not feel like a zombie for once.

Kind of random: are you going to D*Con this year? Because the Stargate lineup is starting to look pretty awesome, and I am getting excited... :D :D
