My journal is called "We're on a road to nowhere" for a few reasons. One, it's an awesome song. The Talking Heads rocketh mightily. My subtitle is “Come on inside.” Kinda cheesy, really… that’s the second line of the song from my title. But still! It’s nifty, right? Because with the “come on inside,” and the “road to nowhere…” Yeah, I know, I’m a dork. My friends page is called “I get by with a little help from my friends.” Beatles song, that. And it’s totally true. Where would I be without my friends? My username is “stoopbeck.” Yeah. But it has a rational [uh… rational for me, that is] reasoning behind it… We were watching this old Abbot and Costello movie, in which they meet Frankenstein, the Wolfman, and Dracula, and Dracula said “Stop! Back!” to Abbot, but it sounded like “Stoop! Beck!” End of story. My default userpic changes constantly. At present it’s a Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow looking meaningfully off into the distance, just because it was a pretty picture. And wow. Reading this whole post over? I can take pride in my strangeness.
