Dec. 13th, 2007 09:59 pmSo, a lot has happened in the last couple of days.
Let me preface my list by saying that I love PriMed. And by "Love" I mean that sick feeling of disgust and... hate. Wait, I hate PriMed!
*sigh*
So, I have bronchitis/borderline pneumonia. The Curse of the Exam Crap strikes again! Which is really unfortunate, seeing as how I no longer have exams. Curse you, Exam Crap! The doctor said I can't leave the house, because of something called "Bermuda pollen," which apparently... is bad.
On the same day I went to PriMed, my computer kind of died. And by "die" I mean "mysteriously corrupted the data that allowed me to be the main user of my computer." All the information was there, it just refused to let me access it.
Thank god my father is a computer genius. We had to reset everything, and transfer all the files into a new user pretty much by hand, but all my files are safe. To celebrate, I made myself a shiny Glitch wallpaper. Yay!

Date: 2007-12-14 02:14 pm (UTC)I don't know if you know this, but there is a doctor's office in the little "strip mall" between McDonalds and HabaƱeros in Millbrook. It's basically like PriMed except better. I went a couple months back when I was sick and I didn't see the actual doctor (he was away on vacation or something but apparently he's polite and efficient) and the secretary/nurses weren't the nicest people ever but I didn't have to wait a trillion years to be seen or even taken back into an exam room. And the (visiting) doctor didn't make me feel like a whiny baby for coming in with a non-life-threatening illness.
Um, anyway. I hope you feel better soon!

Date: 2007-12-14 07:18 pm (UTC)...although if we were to truly follow that train of thought that would mean the illness would get worse...
...But in your case it better now or I'll shrink myself and go in and kick some germ butt!
