I finished NaNoWriMo. I wrote over 50,000 words in the month of November. Go me! Too bad I'm not that driven about pretty much anything else in my life!

I had something specific in mind to write about when I began this post, but I forgot it in the time it took for this page to load. *sigh*

I may or may not have the flu. Cross your fingers for me.

Also, tomorrow (well, technically today) we get out our Christmas stuffs from the attic, and begin to decorate. We have this Christmas village (you know the type, with the little houses and people and lights) that has grown exponentially from one Quiltmaker's shop to a booming metropolis.

I try to make fandom people every year; last year's fandom people didn't suck as much as previous. The good ones were Tintin (and Snowy, of course) and Rygel from Farscape. I'm still not sure who I should attempt this year. Any suggestions?

Congratulations on NaNo.

*keeps fingers crossed regarding the flu*

Awesome. How many pages does that equal? And when can we read? :)

Awww, thanks. *huggle*

Teehee. I really need to watch Due South. Because I had no idea who Diefenbaker was, and when I Wikipedia'd it, I was confused as to why you wanted me to make a miniature of the prime minister of Canada for our Christmas village. *giggle*

Oh, I'm totally there. That's the first thing I'm making this season. It's (theoretically) going to light up and everything! Which means it'll need a Doctor... and a Companion... and possibly a Captain Jack...

114 pages.

I'm planning on editing after Christmas, so I can have some distance on it. So, plan on maybe late January? :]

That is, if it doesn't suck a whole, whole lot.

You don't know Due South????????? *shocked*

Well, someone *cough*Sarah*cough* wants the DVDs for Christmas. So maybe you two could meet up and watch a bit together.

And well, yes, I want the wolf-dog and not the prime minister. :D

I know, I know! I'm like the only person in the history of ever who hasn't watched it. I'm going to have to start walking around with a paper bag over my face to hide my shame. But it's not like I can catch reruns on TV or anything. I'll cross my fingers that a certain someone does indeed get a certain DVD set... :]

I'll add the fandom Diefenbaker to my list. :D

You know, you probably are. Didn't you have tv as a child? I am really surprised that someone I met via tv shows chatting does not know it.

Hehehe. Yes, Diefenbaker is made of awesome. He is my favourite character.

To just give you a few clips of my favourite Dief scenes. Actually those were mostly Dief/Ray, because I had to give [livejournal.com profile] legoline and [livejournal.com profile] napalm_isis a taste for it earlier this year. Can you believe they didn't know the show either? Really, what has the world come to? :D

*keeps fingers crossed with you and most likely certain someone*

A whole Chuck set, or at least Casey, would be awesome...but Chuck is really cute, too. Just don't put Morgan! :P I remember seeing this famous village of yours a couple of years ago and it certainly lives up to its reputation!

But you have to have Morgan! I used to hate the creepy scary-bearded man-child, but he's grown on me (like a fungus).

It was just a 24-hour thing, so yay. :]

Ohh, it is such a relief to have that novel written. Except now I have the daunting task of editing. But that's still 50,000 words I didn't have thirty-odd days ago. Huzzah!
