Hi, I'm alive. By the way.

However, my internet is not. My small town in the middle of nowhere has grown just to the point to make dial-up absolutely miserable. I'm hoping to convince my family to make the move to high-speed; if anyone has a good suggestion as to service provider or complaints or whatever, I'd appreciate them greatly.

What's been going on -- let's see. I have a ferret. I'd planned on posting pictures of her sooner, but -- dial-up. Her name is Bela. She's white with a dark stripe down her back. If she were a person, she'd be a 7-year-old in a frilly dress and blonde pigtails and the vocabulary of a sailor. A sailor who likes to curse a lot.

I'm still getting used to the idea of no school when summer ends. I've been getting ready to go back to school for the last, what, seventeen years of my life, not counting preschool. Now what do I do?

Well, I'm not going to come right out and say "Never will I ever go to grad school," but as of right now I really don't see why I'd go. The main reason would be to prepare for teaching, but I really don't want to teach.

Hmm, it's an option in the next year or two, but I have to work and save up some money first. And that's kinda hard to do without a better job...I need better pay and more hours. We'll see.
