Yay for school!!

They're working on our fire alarm system. They're supposed to be replacing all our sprinklers or something.

Alex: *is a-slumbering peacefully*

[--When SUDDENLY!!]

Horrifically Loud Fire Alarm: *blares*

Alex: *shoots up out of bed* Fire?!

Horrifically Loud Fire Alarm: Just kidding. *shuts off*

Alex: *puts head on pillow*

Horrifically Loud Fire Alarm: *BLARES*

Alex: OMG Fire?!!

Horrifically Loud Fire Alarm: *giggle-snort* Got you again. *shuts off*

Alex: *closes eyes, nearly falls asleep*

Horrifically Loud Fire Alarm: *BLAREBLAREBLARE* OMG OMG FIRE!!!! FOR REAL, YOU GUYS!!!

[And so on, and so on. Finally the alarms stopped. Or maybe I was sleeping so hard I couldn't hear them anymore. Who knows.]

Not really. I was sleeping perfectly fine until then, but afterwards was just sort of dozing and worrying about being reawoken so much that I couldn't really sleep. *sigh*

That's okay. I got at least an hour in.
