I'm in a class discussing the book "The Cruelty of Heresy" which, btw, is rather awesome, but... I'm the youngest person there, and the next youngest is my mother, so that'll tell you the age level of the class in general. However. They are the whiniest group of babies ever. I, at the callow age of twenty, know that it is generally considered bad form to [a] glare at one's teacher, [b] tell the teacher that he's flat out wrong, [c] roll my eyes when he or others are talking, [d] make comments on statements when I wasn't even listening to them in the first place. You'd think that middle-aged lawyer-types would be able to follow these rules as well. You'd think, yes?

No.

Teacher: Opening statement and greeting.

Class: *nods*

Teacher: Overview.

Class: *nods*

Teacher: Specifics.

Class: *nods*

Teacher: Example.

Class: OMGWTH WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!!1

Pompous Guy: Pompous statement. *eyeroll* *scoff*

Angry Though Verra Verra Quiet Woman: ........!!!

Teacher: Reasonable explanation.

ATVVQ Woman: OMG, misconstrue!

Pompous Guy: OMG, nonsequiter!

Other pompous guy: You're wrong, Teacher, and I hate your guts and I hope you die so there!

Teacher: Moving on!


And so on, ad infinitum. Our teacher, Father Wisnewski, has the patience of a saint. *pats him* However, I do not. If the people in this class don't get some manners fast, I may have to smack them. In the TEETH.
