Okay. I need your help.
Does anyone remember reading this short story:
A man with a radio show, for a stunt, chains himself to a bed in an abandoned house near a swamp. It's just him, the chains, and a microphone. He's transmitting live. He starts describing a monster, climbing out of the swamp (for the amazement and terrification of his listeners), slowly coming towards the house, slowly opening the door (*creeeaak*) slowly climbing the steps... and as he's describing this imaginary monster, he hears something--opening the door (*creeeaak*), climbing the steps... and the monster has become real, the millions of radio listeners believed the man's narrative, and their belief made it completely real, and the man is eaten.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? Google has let me down; I've got to find it.
Please, I'm begging you.
