Cap'n, thar be whales here!
Apr. 30th, 2005 01:34 pmSo.
Last night Sarah and I stayed up rather late watching Angel episodes. We got to bed around 1, 1:30, something like that. I was very very tired. After the campus noise quieted down somewhat, I finally got to sleep.
Only to be awoken by the tornado sirens.
At 7:15 in the morning.
So Laura, Sarah, and I got to spend thirty minutes in a cramped downstairs hallway filled to bursting with panicky noisy people. Fun stuff, I kid you not. *sigh*
But on the plus side, when I finally joined the land of the living today, I got a balloon and birthday crepe paper thrown at me! Hee! And I got taken out to Moe's. Huzzah.
What really is cracking me up right now? What with all the people moving stuff out and putting things back together and scraping furniture along the floor above us, it sounds like a sinking submarine in my room. I keep expecting to hear the funny-sounding alarm and then get swept away by a lot of water.
