PARTY!!! PAAAAAARTY!

Yeah! Great party! Love the music, conversation's great too... everyone's laughing, dancing, moving furniture... Only problem? Party's upstairs. How wrong is it that I can hear everything? The cluster above us apparently decided to throw a huge shindig in the room directly above ours, and THEY DIDN'T EVEN INVITE US!!!

This is really getting ridiculous...

*BANG*
*CRASH*
*SCRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE*
*muffled laughter*
*SCRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE*
*CLANG*
*freaky constant drumming noise*
*THUD*

I mean, okay, I understand it if you make some noise moving around, but... moving furniture? At all hours of the night? What are you people thinking?!?

*SCRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE*

lol

I find your descriptions of the commotion both accurate and entertaining. At least it's not like my cluster last year, where someone *galloped* overhead every single night of every blessed week.

i think i got you beat...everytime some flushed the toliet at my apartment in atlanta...you could hear this loud long annoying flushing noise. And let me just say that the people above me had a bladder the size of a pin head. I'm surpised there apartment wasn't underwater by the sounds of all the flushing....

shuts eye.....your eyes are getting very heavy...falling asleep...almost asleep.....
****FLUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH***

Ha!

Okay, okay... you win! That is much, MUCH worse...

Yep, that's what it sounds like every night. ::sigh::

In other news, the guy who is on your icon? That actor has been on two episodes of Stargate Atlantis so far. And I'm sure you would giggle at all the other Star Trek people between both Gate shows! :)

Oh, and a forgot to mention...

*HAAAAAAAAAAAIRRRR DRRRRRRRRYYEEEEEERRRR*

But that's in the mornings. :P

How on earth could I have forgotten that one? But actually it doesn't bother me too much, because I'm usually awake by then, and if I'm not awake by the time people are drying their hair, then I'm in some sort of coma or something... but it is pretty annoying. Now if they start up drying hair at 3 in the morning...

As far as your other question goes, my icon is Colm Meaney, Cheif O'Brien from Deep Space 9, in a James Bond-type holosuite, in which he plays a bad guy... pretty darn cool, if you ask me.

Oyi... I hate having exceptionally great hearing. I hear EVERYTHING! And the pillow over my head, if you haven't noticed is a morning routine now, isn't helping anymore. I even hear you using your scroll button on your laptop in the mornings. :(

Colm Meaney... Ah, that's it. I knew his first name, but the last name escaped me.

Got your remedy

Just listen to loud rock music and you won't hear so well any more. Sorry if my hair dryer is bothersome. I already wake up with an alarm blaring in my ear every morning. I'm not sacrificing my hair dryer too. You can sleep with my sound-blocking headphones on if you like.

My morning routine now includes ear-plugs! And man, they really work. I don't even hear the hair dryer, but sometimes still the radio. However, I have to sleep hugging my alarm clock, or I won't hear it go off. :D
