Pet post.

I've talked about my fish before in this blogspace. I've gotten two new ones, one for the amazing deal of 14-cent and one for rather more.

The 14-cent one is a beautiful baby platy who as yet is unnamed. She totally fangirls over the other one, a beautiful yellow fantail beta who I've named Tony [for Tony DiNozzo]. His favorite pasttime is looking at himself in the reflection of the aquarium wall. He likes to try and attack the stick-on thermometer on the side of the tank, and will drive himself to the point of exhaustion trying to get at it. We had to put paper over it.

He also tried to attack a snail. Who was thoroughly unimpressed, and carried on with his cleaning of the wall, leaving Tony depressed, his self-confidence shattered. He stayed slumped in the corner for nearly a minute, until he got distracted by his pretty, pretty self in the reflection.

Yay fish!

That sounds like Sarah to me. You should name the Platy Sarah. Or SK. Or Muffin. Or something entirely different.

YAY! fishies.

Tony needs more mirrors. What if he swam to the other side of the tank and had to race back to see himself? How's the fearless eXtreme sports snail doing?
